Professor Tuncer ASUNAKUTLU
He was born in Izmir. He completed BA and MA degrees of Business Administration at Dokuz Eylül University. He has been in Germany thanks to AIESEC and DAAD scholarship. Through sponsorship of DAAD, He worked as an extern doctor at Hamburg University in Germany. He started his doctoral studies at the Department of Business Administration, Dokuz Eylül University, and completed it in 1997, at the Institut für VBL, Universitaet Hamburg. During the period that he was at University of Hamburg, he was a member of the Deutsche Turkisch Interessen Gemeinschaft Commission of the State Parliament. He returned to Turkey in 1998 and started to work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Muğla University. Between 2001 and 2003, he worked as Vice-Dean. In 2005, he assumed the title of Associated Professor. In the context of regional development projects, he worked as a assessor in the European Union. Between 2003 and 2007 Professor Tuncer Asunakutlu, who served as advisor to the Minister of Health, directed the project about ‘’Quality in the Health Sciences’’, financed by World Bank. He assumed responsibilities in the establishment of the Ministry of Health Quality Unit, health accreditation studies, merging of public hospitals with Social Insurance Institutions’ hospitals. In 2011, Professor Asunakutlu, who was appointed to the position Professor at Muğla University, in the Department of Management and Organization, worked as Secretary General between 2010-2012 and Vice-Chancellor between 2012-2014. He also served as the Founding Director of the Distance Education Center, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Technical Education, and the University-Industry Cooperation Coordinator. He carried out post-doctoral academic studies at Freie Universiteat Berlin, USA Purdue University, UITM Malaysia. Between 2014 and 2017 he worked at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Business Administration and served as Dean. Professor Tuncer Asunakutlu whose research areas are organizational behavior, leadership and decision-making, perception management, management, health management and neuroscience, has been working as Vice-Chancellor at Izmir University of Bakırçay since 2017.
Professor Ahmet Emin ERBAYCU
He was born in Zonguldak. In 1992, he graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Medicine. He worked in Kosovo Hospital, Sarajevo Hospital and Zonguldak Chest Diseases Hospital. He completed his compulsory service in Şebinkarahisar / Giresun. Between 1993 and 1997 he specialized in ‘’ Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis’’ in Dr. Suat Seren Chest Diseases and Surgery Training and Research Hospital. He fulfilled 16 months of compulsory military service in İskenderun.
Professor Abdulkadir HIZIROĞLU
Prof. Abdulkadir Hiziroglu: He has been in academia since 2001. He started his career as a Research Assistant and worked in Informatics Department & Distance Education Centre of Sakarya University. He received a BEng degree from Sakarya University Industrial Engineering Department in 2001 and was awarded with a Master’s degree in the same area in 2003. He then pursued his PhD degree at Manchester Business School, United Kingdom. After the completion of his PhD in 2009, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering & Management Information Systems Departments at Sakarya University. During the periods between 2013 and 2018, he worked in two different universities in Ankara; Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University and Social Sciences University of Ankara. He acquired the title of Associate Professor degree in 2014 in Management Information Systems area. Besides his academic duties, he respectively carried out administrative duties at Sakarya University as European Union Framework Programs Coordinator, and Vice Dean and Head of Marketing Department at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, and the General Coordinator of Rectorate Committees at Social Sciences University of Ankara. Currently, he works for Izmir Bakircay University as a Professor in Management Information Systems Department and has been serving as Secretary General and Vice Rector for R&D and Projects of the university. He has several research interests such as soft computing/data mining applications in business & management, business intelligence & customer analytics & e-learning with numerous related publications. He also has project experience in inter-disciplinary projects at national & EU-level & worked as Project Coordinator for some EU-funded projects.
